Model United Nations
During this project, the 10th grade class learned the in and outs of the United Nations. Why the United Nations is important, how it was founded, how a meeting runs, and how decisions are made. Each student represented their own country and made decisions through the lens of their country. My role was to be a chair, to officiate and run the final model un meeting as well as guide the representatives during their decisions. The goal of our meeting was to write a resolution on the Afghanistan Humanitarian Crisis, being well informed and making our decisions with solidarity and determination.
